It is my pleasure to be here as the Vice Chancellor of First Capital University of Bangladesh. I am honored to join with such Honorable Board of Trustees and distinguished community of faculty members, students, and I am eager to contribute to the ongoing success of this institution.

As Vice Chancellor, I have three primary goals that I hope to achieve in my time here. First and foremost, I want to progress the research activities at First Capital University. I believe that research is the backbone of any university, and I am committed to providing the resources and support necessary to help our faculty and students produce meaningful and impactful work for national contributions.

Second, I want to ensure that all faculty members and students have access to sufficient laboratory facilities. I understand the importance of hands-on learning and experimentation, and I believe that providing state-of-the-art equipment and facilities will help our students and faculty to achieve their full potential.

I want to establish a strong sense of university law and decorum, in accordance with the regulations set forth by the University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. I believe that it is essential to have clear guidelines and expectations for all members of the university community, and I will work to ensure that these guidelines are communicated effectively and consistently enforced.

Another important aspect of my vision for First Capital University is to increase our engagement with the wider community. I believe that it is important for universities to have a positive impact on the communities they serve, and I will work to establish partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and educational institutions to achieve this.
I am also committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality at First Capital University. That is why I have made it a priority to follow the Bangladesh National Qualification Framework (BNQF) and to establish an Institutional Quality Assurance Cell in accordance with the Bangladesh Accreditation Council. By following the BNQF, we will ensure that our programs and courses are aligned with national standards and are of the highest quality. This will also help our graduates to be competitive in the job market and to be recognized for their academic achievements both nationally and internationally. The establishment of an Institutional Quality Assurance Cell will also help us to maintain our commitment to quality. This cell will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating our academic programs and ensuring that they meet the standards set by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council. This will give our students, faculty, and stakeholders confidence in the quality of the education we provide.

I also understand the importance of providing a well-rounded education to our students, and I am committed to ensuring that we offer a diverse range of programs and courses that will prepare them for the future. This includes not only traditional academic disciplines, but also opportunities for students to develop important life skills, such as leadership, teamwork, and communication.

I would like to stress the importance of inclusivity and diversity. I believe that all students should feel welcome and valued at First Capital University, regardless of their background, beliefs, or perspectives. I am committed to creating a campus culture that is inclusive and respectful, and I will work to ensure that all members of our community have equal opportunities to succeed. I am confident that by working together, we can achieve these goals and move First Capital University of Bangladesh forward as a premier institution of higher learning.

Thank you again for your time, and I look forward to working with you to make First Capital University a place where students can receive an exceptional education, and where faculty and staff can achieve their professional goals.
